ClimbStreets is a collaborative geolocation platform for trekking, mountaineering, climbing and outdoor activities in general. With it, the user simply points the cell phone camera to the trail or to the mountain, to see the path on the screen in augmented reality. And any user can record their own tracks and share with friends.
In addition, the application aims to collaborate with the sustainability of professionals and companies in the sector. Local guides can organize and sell, through the platform, information from their region. And other commercial establishments such as hotels and inns, equipment rental companies and trekker support services can advertise, knowing the user's next destination.
ClimbStreets, for its innovative solution combining technology with outdoor sports, was invited to participate in WebSummit 2014 in Dublin, where it had its international launch. Now, six months after its launch, it already has hundreds of registered copies and users in more than 10 countries.
