How to combat Fake News?

Combater Fake News

News influence campaigns and this is not new. Social media tools allow anyone to contribute to the propagation of content because they are free of cost and very practical.

Nobody is exempt from being in the core of fake news on the internet. And it has been getting more and more difficult to identify what is true and what is not.

Programmers use links and pages that are very similar to portals which have invested millions and decades onto gaining credibility, for example. And all that is necessary is a hashtag or a video on your smartphone for a fake news to spread, specially if you share it in your social network.

One way of fighting against fake news is to check their source.

Do you know those chains to help find the missing dog, get donations for someone’s health, tempting incredible sales? Check if the contact who sent it to you exists, if the link is true or if the date is not very old.

But as far as politics is concerned, how can I know if my candidate is really involved in those fake news that are all over the internet?
