Diabetics, with due care, can lead a normal life. With this in mind, Innova Saúde sought Action Labs to develop a glucose measuring device that would work in an integrated manner with the Ei,Doctor! platform. This integration makes life easier for the patient through prevention, as the data is automatically updated on the platform.
CONCEPT PROOF
The prototype developed on a 3D printer was validated by real users of glucose meters. In addition to the basic functions, the Glucometer Hey Doctor! uses the cell phone screen as a monitor, making it possible to offer a series of integrated services, including sharing data between registered family members.
The proof of concept of this prototype also validated that it is possible for the meter to have a wi-fi or bluetooth connection to the internet and the application.
The self-monitoring of diabetes, through daily monitoring of blood glucose, is the most important tool in the role of the person with the disease in the treatment of diabetes.
Anyone can measure blood glucose!
