An event by BIG broadcasted on Flowing encourages health care habits

The platform which was developed by Action Labs was also added with a module for COVID-19 prevention and followup

With the goal of encouraging its employees, Grupo BIG, which is one of the biggest food retail companies in Brazil, yearly promotes the BIG Week of the Employee, an event that was broadcasted on our platform Flowing Wellbeing this February 1st to 5th. The Week included several daily events focused on health, career, well-being, business and other segments of life. Activities began early in the morning and participants could do some stretching for the muscles, various types of exercises, yoga, meditation to relax both body and mind, and a full activity schedule to do with their families. Talks and workshops with experts in health were also part of the schedule and, in addition to that, there was a final surprise to top it all off: a show with the singer Negra Li.

Flowing, which is a project by Action Labs, has already established itself in the business market as the most complete and personalized marketplace of healthy life focused on company’s employees in Brazil, with several features which encourage healthy habits through programs, events, mindfulness and personalized content, as well as a communication channel between the company and its employee. Managing more than 150 thousand lives in companies such as BIG, Sanofi and Etna, during the pandemic the platform received an additional module specifically for COVID-19 which permits it to evaluate users and accompany their health status, or even begin health care services based on the information collected if necessary.

The feature includes a questionnaire based on official standards where, from time to time, users answer questions that allow the platform to identify symptoms or risk situations both for the employee and for his family. According to Ewerton Wantroba, leader of the project and Android developer in Action Labs, with this kind of information the company can verify if the employee can be infected by the virus, if he/she needs to be isolated or if he/she is able to get back to work, remotely or in person, observing the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Besides the Human Resource team, there is a medical team who accompanies all this information with a more detailed attention to the user’s health. This is possible because of the integration with two other great platforms: TopMed, a remote health service system, and Psicologia Viva, which offers therapy sessions through the Flowing app. As a result, if the medical team identifies symptoms related to COVID-19, the employee is directed to medical appointments which provide him with all the necessary support for his treatment.
